The Poetry Center is hosts readings, performances, lectures and meetings on the 3rd Floor of Sawyer Library. During fall and spring semester finals, it is turned into group study space for our students. During that time, no events are held. Otherwise, there are a wide variety of doings in the room, including the library's own Speaker Series. For more on the Poetry Center, see the College of Arts & Sciences' Research Center's page for the Poetry Center.
Here's a picture of the space with just a few chairs for a small lecture.
The Poetry Center is available for use by Suffolk University community members, but you must book well in advance. Want to learn more about reserving the Poetry Center? See Sawyer Library's page about the Poetry Center.
