PDFs

Any article that in PDF format can be read on your tablet or eReader. For instructions detailing how to put it on your specific device, click the "Getting the File Onto Your Device" tab for instructions.

eBook Central eBooks

The eBook provider, eBook Central, has made their ebooks downloadable for use offline on computers, as well as for use on eReaders and Tablets.  Their program offers two different ways of downloading eBooks:

  1. Parts of eBooks may be downloaded in PDF format.
    1. One may choose to download individual chapters, or specific page ranges unique to each book.
    2. These sections do not expire, and you can save them on your device indefinitely.
  2. Whole eBooks may be downloaded in the Adobe Digital Editions format (ACSM).
    1. eBooks downloaded in their entirety will last on your device for a limited period of time.
    2. The Adobe Digital Editions format is not compatible with Kindles at this time, so Kindle users will need to use the PDF method.
    3. Some ebooks are not available for download as a whole book, but the PDF instructions for parts of the book will still work for them.
