Service Desks

Two service desks are located on Level 2 (the entry level).  One is the Reference Desk, and one is the Circulation/Reserve Desk.

Five full-time Reference Librarians provide help to the Suffolk Community in using the library’s many resources and services. There is at least one librarian on duty most hours that the Library is open.  If you are not finding the information you need, or are having problems accessing or effectively utilizing our electronic or print collections, please contact us.  Visit the Reference Desk, call the Reference Desk (617-573-8532), email Reference (sawlib@suffolk.edu), text us (224-5-SAWLIB), or instant message us on LibAnswers during weekdays.

The Circulation/Reserve Desk holds 2 copies of every class textbook which students can borrow and use within the Library.  This desk also has more than 80+ laptops that students can borrow and use in the Library.  For questions, call 617-573-8535.

Study carrels and tables are located on all floors.  The 4th floor is considered the “quiet floor.”  Books that may be check-out from the Library are located on the 4th floor and in the New Book Shelf on level two.
