CQ Researcher provides summary reports on nearly all aspects of U.S. society, including gun control, abortion, higher education, etc... The reports consist of multiple sections that fill out background information about a topic, a pro/con debate question, graphs, timelines and more.
1. In contrast to OneSearch, CQ Researcher has far fewer articles to search, so keep a search very simple. One keyword should be sufficient.
2. You can also browse the topics
3. This class will likely find useful reports under the Housing and Development category.
Select a topic to view the report.
1. The report sections each contain some unique content, so make sure to check them out. Thoroughly investigating these sections can spur your thoughts about refining a topic, developing keywords, and establishing important facts about the topic.
2. CQ Researcher provides services including PDF download, citation generator, optimized view for printing, emailing links to the report, etc.
