Sawyer Library Services During Covid-19: Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery

This guide contains the most current information on the Sawyer Library's services and building operations.

Document Delivery

Since the library’s journal collection will not be open for browsing, library staff can scan articles to send as PDFs.

Please send requests to dept_illsawlib@suffolk.edu with the following information: journal info (title, date, issue number) and article info (title and author(s)).

Interlibrary Loan

If the Sawyer Library does not have the research material you need, our Interlibrary Loan Librarian can submit an Interlibrary Loan (ILL) request for books, book chapters and articles.

Please complete the following forms to request items: article requestsbook requests, or book chapters.

Please note the following:

  • Please allow two weeks for the receipt of ILL items, although articles often take less time.
  • The article or book chapter will be emailed as a PDF.
  • The Library is never able to request course textbooks.

If you are unsure of a citation or have any other questions, the ILL Librarian is happy to help at dept_illsawlib@suffolk.edu or consult our ILL page.
