Creating Persistent URLs (PURLs): ARTstor

★ Persistent URLs in ARTstor are called Image URLs.

Steps:

1. From the item page, click on the Copy Button.

2. Add the following prefix to the front of the URL:
   https://ezproxysuf.flo.org/login?url=

   ---

3. Example of a "proxied" persistent link:
   https://ezproxysuf.flo.org/login?url=http://library.artstor.org/asset/AWSS35953_35953_23990754

   ---

4. To shorten the link, you may want to plug it into a site like Bitly (http://bitly.com/), which will convert the link into a smaller one that is easier to work with. The links never expire.
