Creating Persistent URLs (PURLs): Opposing Viewpoints

Creating Persistent URLs for Opposing Viewpoints

★ Persistent links in Opposing Viewpoints are called Bookmarks.

Steps:

  1. Once you've selected your article or search results, select Bookmark (top right by search box).
  2. A box appears containing the persistent URL. The URL already contains everything you need to access the article from on or off campus (if you click on it while off campus you may be prompted to log in with your MySuffolk username and password). Highlight and copy the URL (it's usually very long so be sure to get the entire think), and paste in desired location.
