The Research Updates were produced 5 times a year and are available on the website. Publication was stopped in December 2007.

Headquartered at Stanford University, the NCPI is in an institutional partnership with Stanford, the University of Pennsylvania, and the University of Michigan. NCPI provides research and recommendations for improving all aspects of higher education. The full-text of reports are available and are searchable by author, title, or date.

OPE formulates federal postsecondary education policy and administers programs that address national needs in improving access to quality postsecondary education. OPE reports are available for downloading. Links to text of appropriate laws and regulations and Congressional testimony are also provided. The Office of Vocational and Adult Education (OVAE), under the U.S. Department of Education, provides information on High Schools, Career and Technical Education, Community Colleges, and Adult Education and Literacy, as well as related legislation, grants, news, and other resources.

NCSALL is a federally funded research center focused on adult learning. The site offers full-text research reports and and policy papers. Unfortunately all federal funding for NCSALL will end on July 31, 2007.
