At the request of faculty, the Reference Librarians of the Sawyer Library will teach a Library Instruction session for any class requiring a term paper, or any other class project requiring research.
Information literacy requires the collaborative efforts of faculty and librarians. Some competencies are better taught by the faculty in the classroom. Librarians will introduce any of the competencies into a library instruction class at the request of the faculty.
Librarians use an online "One minute paper" at the end of each class as an assessment tool.
