The Library strives to obtain a copy of all required textbooks. Books may be borrowed for use within the Library. Two hour time limit, renewable if no one is waiting. Use the link above to search for textbooks by course number, example: WRI 101

Chargers: usb-c, lightning, and micro-usb chargers are available for in-library use.
Laptops are available for in-library use, and long-term loans (based on availability).

There will be a one-time Suffolk ID card registration.
Then tap your Suffolk ID card at the printer.

Follow the instructions to configure your laptop to send documents to the Library's printers.

During the semester, the Library is open everyday, with an adjusted schedule on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and some holidays.

Your Suffolk ID card—or Ram card—is also your library card. Use your Ram card to check out books, reserve textbooks, laptops, phone chargers, etc.

Your Suffolk username and password is needed to login to computer workstations.
Contact the I.T. Service Desk for help with username and password problems.

Study carrels and tables are located throughout the library on a first come, first served basis. Carrels and tables have electrical outlets and wired network jacks.
The Granary Reading areas, overlooking the Granary burial ground, has soft armchairs and couches for comfortable reading, studying, and napping.

23 group study rooms, located on levels 3 and 4, are available for reservation. Students may book one room per day, for a total time of two hours.
One group member will need to provide their full name and Suffolk University email to complete the reservation.

The library also has a few 'first come, first served' rooms on the third and fourth floor: 3001, 3002, 4003, 4010, 4011, and 4013.

From off campus, users will be asked for their Suffolk username and password to access the databases.

Use the link to the Library catalog to search for books. Reference Librarians can help you find books in print and online, to give you a broad perspective on a topic, or to go into detail.
Books from levels 3 and 4 may be borrowed with for 28 days with your Suffolk ID (Ram) card.

Located on level 3, adjacent to the Library Commons, the Moakley Archive and Institute supports Suffolk University's academic mission and operational needs through reference assistance, classroom instruction, records management and public programming.
