This is the website of the American Folklife Center at the Library of Congress. The Folklife Sourcebook Database, an online database of folklife resources in the United States, includes lists of publishers and dealers of folklore recordings and books on folklore. The American Folklore Society is an association which communicates knowledge about folklore throughout the world and publishes the Journal of American Folklore. Little content available to nonmembers.

This site includes course materials, a searchable bibliography, and links to on-line resources. Includes an anthology of translated primary resources, covering ancient Greece, Rome, Byzantium, Egypt, and more. Keyword searchable.
