Sawyer Library Introduction

This guide will step you through using library resources in connection with your Scientific Method and your Scientific Literature assignments in SCI 120. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns about any of the library resources, please reach out to us at sawlib@suffolk.edu

Library resources provide hubs of valuable and reliable information from hundreds of scientific journals, in addition to a wealth of other types of information. These subscription-only databases are where you will find news, videos, e-books, journal articles, and more.

Sawyer Library Homepage

To find the library databases go to Library Homepage and open the Database section by selecting the '+' icon. Find databases by subject provides organization to support selecting useful database links.

Off-Campus Access to Sawyer Library E-Resources

In addition to seamless on-campus access, current students have access to the online resources from off-campus. At the point of clicking on a link to an online source, users should expect to be prompted for their Suffolk University username and password. This authenticates the user as part of the Suffolk community, and grants access to the online database.
