SBS 100 careerSTART: Bonus: Citing DemographicsNow

Support for the Library component of SBS 100.

Citing DemographicsNow

DemographicsNow does not provide a citation generator. Instead, you will need to collect the required MLA information for an article from an online database.

For more details on MLA citation styles, please see instructions in your writing guide, visit Purdue's Online Writing Lab, or explore our library guide on MLA resources.

Finding Citation Information in the Demographics tab

Keep track of the information you will need to create an MLA citation for "an article from an online database". The major MLA elements that are visible on this DemographicsNow report include the article name, title of website, publisher information, a URL, and the date accessed. Combine the report name and the geography to create the article name in this example.
