Citation Tools in Sawyer Library Databases: ProQuest

How to Create Formatted Citations Using Database Tools in Our Online Resources

ProQuest Databases Like Wall Street Journal and Massachusetts Newsstand

Two of our most popular news databases, Wall Street Journal and ABI/INFORM Collection are on the ProQuest platform, which has a nice citation tool.

First, perform a search.

Then, select an article to cite.

Click the Cite link in the border.

The ProQuest Cite tool defaults to MLA.  Open the drop-down box to change the format (APA shown below).

We also have image archives of the Boston Globe.  Although these search and display slightly differently as they are scanned reproductions and not HTML, the Cite tool is still there. Click "Show more options" if you do not see the tools.
