Continuity of Learning Services at Sawyer library: Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery

This guide provides information about the Library's online services for faculty, staff and students during the Covid-19 disruptions.

Document Delivery

For faculty that are unable to access campus, library staff can scan articles from our print journal collection to send as PDFs.

Please send requests to dept_illsawlib@suffolk.edu with the following information: journal info (title, date, issue number) and article info (title and author(s)).

Interlibrary Loan

If the Sawyer Library does not have the research material you need, our Interlibrary Loan Librarian can submit an Interlibrary Loan (ILL) request for books, book chapters and articles.

Request articles, book chapters, and books by logging into ILLiad using your Suffolk username and password. Request forms can be found under the New Requests tab.

Please note the following:

  • Please allow two weeks for the receipt of ILL items, although articles often take less time.
  • The Library is never able to request course textbooks.

If you are unsure of a citation or have any other questions, the ILL Librarian is happy to help at dept_illsawlib@suffolk.edu or consult our ILL page.
