Sawyer Library Services During Covid-19: Home

This guide contains the most current information on the Sawyer Library's services and building operations.

Welcome

With the recent lifting of many pandemic-related restrictions in Massachusetts, and in keeping with CDC, Commonwealth and city of Boston guidelines, the Sawyer Library will be able to change or eliminate many of the temporary policies put into place at Suffolk during the pandemic. Virtual services—including research help, class support, and access to electronic resources—continue to be available for all users.

The library staff looks forward to working with you whether it’s on campus or from a distance.  We thank you for your patience as we work to restore seating, technology, and other services to pre-pandemic levels.

Updates to Sawyer Library Services and Facilities

In light of the recent changes to pandemic-related restrictions, the Sawyer Library's current operations are as follows:

  • Face Coverings: Face coverings are not required.
  • Capacity Limits and Social Distancing: Room capacity limits have been returned to the identified limits prior to the pandemic.
  • Eating and Drinking: Eating and drinking in the library is permitted.
  • Hand Sanitizer and Cleaning Wipes: Hand sanitizer and sanitizing wipes will be available for library patron use until further notice.
